I Finally Caved to DigiStamps!!!!!

Well..............what can I say?? I held out for as long as I could on another addiction of this stamping craft!!!! LOL But what could I do when my very sweet friend, Christina, or Sunshine as she's known on SCS, asked me if I'd help showcase this little guy??? I could only say YES!!!!! He's adorable!!!!!!

His name is Angus Argus...........or Angie Argus when I make a pink one........and y'all KNOW I will!!! LOL Well, I decided to make a cammo design Angus flying over a fun Safari!!!! And this cute DCWV Safari Stack is perfect for it!!! I only have an ink jet printer......so I didn't want to use my Copics and smear the image.......so I used my Prisma Pencils, and surprisingly the OMS didn't smear! The ribbon and dew drops and a computer-generated sentiment finish it off!!! Watch for other Sunshine creations soon!!!!

Just a heads-up.........I'm still having major internet issues...........sometimes it works, sometimes it goes fast, sometimes it boots me off, sometimes it errors out, sometimes it won't load photos and graphics................well, y'all get the point!!!! It's Another ETSY Saturday!!!

Howwwwwwwwwwdy!!!!!!!!!! Are you ready for a creative weekend??? I know I am!!! Well, here's a GORGEOUS Etsy Inspired Challenge to get your mojo a-flowin'!!!!!! Stop by the very elegant shop, Tony Carlisle.............you'll be taken with the gorgeous photography!!!!!!


I was inspsired by both the black & white photography and the red roses...........so I let these 2 photographs be my inspiration.

I used the new Gina K. Designs stamp, Arranged With Love designed by the phenomenal Melanie!!! I just simply embossed the large stamp in white and let the image just show itself off!! I totally am IN LOVE with this stamp!!!! Okay, okay, y'all know me well......what Gina K. am I NOT in love with???!!!! LOL Can you believe I didn't even use any embellies other than a ribbon??? See??? This stamp does all the hard work!!!!

Gina K. Sneak Peek Before The Party!!!!!

Oh hasn't this week of Gina K. Designs sneak peeks just been FAB--U--LOUS-O???!!!! Are you all psyched up for the release party???? WooooHoooo!!!!!! Here's a couple last peeks before the big reveal!!!!!

I used the sweet and dainty new set, Many Wishes, designed by our very own A---MAZING Gina K.!!!! I decided to to use Flower Soft for each of the Dandelion puffs!! But looking at it now....without the stems they just seem like Flower Soft circles!!!! LOL Oh well..........trust me........they're very cute DANDELIONS!!!! LOL


And there's a gorgeous new set by the talented Asela called The Journey.........filled with some wonderful images that evoke sweet memories!!!! Now I just ***had*** to use this phenomenal truck image!!! We had one very similar when our kids were little and we were broke, so it was the only vehicle we could afford when we lived in Montana!!! We loved it!!! Well, it wasn't pink........but in my dreams it was!!!!! LOL

Thanks to the AWESOME Stamp TV videos that Gina just posted on using the Janome Mini!!! I just bought it and followed the videos and BAM! It really was simple!! And yes, that's PINK thread........seriously........what DID you expect???!!! So get ready to see lots of stitching for a while!!!! LOL

It's a Limelight Thursday!!!

It's another FUN Limelight Papercrafts Sketch and Product Challenge!!!!! This time the product in focus is.......RIBBBBBBBON!!!!! I soooooooo love ribbon!!!!!!! Actually any kind of fiber!!!!

So here is a fun sketch!! Try some ribbon or fiber in a funky design in the corner!!! And get creative with that oval!!! I almost always use the sketch as exact as possible......but today I thought I'd take some creative license!!!! I flipped the sketch and then used some bling in the oval spot.

I used the caaauuuute Unity Stamps t.v. image Love Is Everything. And I'm still soooo lovin' this Basic Grey Lime Rickey!!!! This funky pattern was soooo perfect for the retro televisions!!! And the Hot Pink Double Dash Ribbon........well, just about any color ribbon will match with this fun and summery dp!!!! I couldn't resist a bit of Stickles on the image.

Gina K. Sneak Peeks...............Day Two!!!!!!

Haven't the Sneak Peeks been AWESOME so far???? We sure have some amazing artists designing these GORGEOUS stamp sets!!!!! Are you ready to see the latest in Beautiful Blooms from our sweet Melanie??? This is the largest stamp so far in the Gina K. Designs collection!!! And OMGosh is it a stunner!!!!!

It's called Arranged With Love............and comes with many different wonderful sentiments that fit, of course, perfectly in the little sign holder!!!! I popped it up to add just a bit more depth. Yep..........just like you bought a fabulous flower arrangement at a flower shop!!!! I so enjoyed coloring with my Copics and then just adding a hint of glitter around the flower petals. The Basic Grey Lime Rickey was so perfect for my summer color palette!!!

And now.....introducing the adorable Bug Me Anytime set by the talented Nina!!!! The buggies and flowers are just so dang cute!!!! I had to continue on with my summer palette and my current Lime Rickey addiction!!! LOL My friend, Ky, unknowingly sparked this candy setting set while we were chatting!!! I hope she's surprised and pleased!!!! LOL

I used some metallic Smooch on the pots and Stickles on the images. I didn't have a white tablecloth or I would have stamped one to match!!!! LOL Soooo many little party favor ideas and decorations went spinning thru my head.........but living up here on my mountain does limit my dashing in to a city to shop when I get a brainstorm!!! LOL

Gina K. Sneak Peeks Begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WooooooooHoooooooo!!!!!!! The first sneak peeks of this AMAZING new Gina K. Designs release!!!!!!!! Are you drooling yet??? LOL

I started with the amazingly talented Rupa and her FUN new 100% Sweet!!!!! And let me tell you it is SAAAAWEEEET!!!! Candy, donuts, ice cream, cake, strawberries.........OH MY!!!!!!

I stamped the images onto this treat box and colored them all in with Copics. Of course I had to add some bling and some ribbon and some flowers to make this treat box a delicious gift!!!!!

My DD bakes some adorable little cookies for me to show off my gifty box!!! And do I really need to confess that I ate them??!!!! ;)



Now you have got to SEEEEE this amazing new set by Theresa.........a super talented artist........Happy Camper. I totally LOVE the realism and beauty of this set!!

I made a Clean & Simple card so the beauty of this mountain could be shown......and yes, this IS clean and simple for me!!! LOL I sponged the glossy cardstock panel and then stamped the image on top. I used some of these fun new "nailhead" blingies that Gina will be carrying!!! I also used some of the Mesh from the last release.......and can you see the new color cardstock there?? Soft Sand.........it's THE perfect neutral!!! Now you can enjoy more amazing, fabulous, awesome sneak peeks from the Design Team!!!!

Are you ready???? Sure you are!!!! This is a super adorable Etsy Shop called Potato Patch!!!!





Of course I saw this sweet pink ladybug and just had to go with that!!! LOL I used the cute Unity Stamps Little Buggers. I got some brand new BLING too!!!! I don't know how well it shows up here, but it's on the red spots of the ladybug and is called Smooch!!! I got it at 7 Kids College Fund as they had the best price I found!! It's a gorgeous metallic shine!!!

I'm so sorry my post is short and I haven't posted in almost a week...........here's what happened:

My hard drive crashed!!!! So now I have to share computer time and I've lost a ton of files and photos...............hubby's working on things...........but what a PAIN!!!! So it will be a bit further in between posting for a while, and commenting........I'm sure trying...........but hubby uses his laptop as he works from home and just try sharing computers with teenagers!!!!! LOL

Cottage Rumble #9..............Inside Out!!!!!!!!!

Are you ready to RUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMBLE???????????? Well, here's the next Clear Artistic Stamps Rumble Challenge!!!! Make a birthday card with some sort of stamping on the inside!!!

• Stamps: Thoughts Of Joy
• Paper: Linen, Chocolate Chip, Basic Grey dsp
• Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Burgundy Copic
• Accessories: Flower Soft, Ribbon, Chocolate Pearls

I used Belinda's brand net stamp set, Thoughts Of Joy. I LOVE the elegance of this set!!!! Belinda always amazes me with her beautiful artwork!!!! This beautiful bird was so perfect for this....and I added some Flower Soft to make a little more of a "feathery" look!! I didn't use a sentiment, so it could be a birthday card, but also could be for any occasion. I kept the layout and colors simple so the bird could really POP!!! I used Linen Cardstock which Belinda will be carrying soon!! I ADORE this Linen paper!!!!

I then just put a couple of simple layers inside and stamped the flowery branch from the set on the side. So there's still plenty of room to write your greeting.

Embellish-Online........Box Of Chocolates!!!!

LOL.........I love that smilie!!!! Okay, it's Embellish-Online time!!!!! Oh yes it is!!!! I am soooooo thrilled to be the Guest Designer for June and share another project!!!! How about a fun summer gift idea!! Just a little something for a hostess of a party, a babysitter, a co-worker, a girlfriend who needs a pick-me-up?? Or yourself!!! LOL

I used the adorable Stampavie Sarah Kay Spring Blossoms stamp. I LOVE these little sweeties!!!! I love the practice I get with my Copics!!! I used the very sweet American Crafts Baby collection of papers and ribbon/rik-rak. I love the soft pastels and dainty prints!!! Just perfect for these little Sarah Kays!!!! Now I had to..........yes HAD to add some bling.........and Prima Flowers. I just used a little alphabet set for the sentiment. I covered a little Truffle Box I had with the paper.

And then filled it with a variety of chocolates!!! Oh yum!!! And you know I just could NOT resist sampling a bit...........well, ya know......I had to make sure the candy was GOOD!!!!! Limelight Six Chicks........Simply Summertime!!!

It's SUMMERTIME!!!!! What does that mean for you??? Summer is bright, fun colors to me!!!! And the theme for this month's Limelight Papercrafts Six Chicks project is Summertime!!!!

I really do love the simplicity of the Unity Stamps set Gratitude=Joy. You really can do so much to change the look of these images. So I used the Colorbox Queue Rainbow Sherbet Ink Pads in some fun summery colors that perfectly match my current dp addiction, Basic Grey Lime Rickey!!!! And the brand new colors of Kaisercraft Rhinestones, Lippy Red and Split Pea that Mandy is carrying!!! Oooooooo la la!!!!! Of course I couldn't resist using some Stickles too!!!! LOL Summer is about sparkle and shine ya know!!!! ;)

I had to include some chocolates!!!! I think summer is perfect for a treat!! Okay, okay, I think every season is perfect for treats!!!! LOL I used a little SU tin to alter with the Lime Rickey and Ribbon and Rhinestones.

And then here's what's super fun about summer............no socks and shoes!!!! Sandal-wearing weather!!!! But you simply must have cute and colorful and smooth feet and toesies!!!! So a little gift Nail Pail is what I came up with!! I used these ribbons, Light Blue/Parrot Green, Pink/Light Pink and Sheer Fuschia/White Dot. I also used the new Baby's Breath Shimmerz Spritz on the tag..........I hope you can see the awesome shimmer!!! I LOVE this stuff!!!! LOL

I hope my friend enjoys this little Simply Summer pampering gifty!!! And I hope you have some fun inspiration and ideas to create some fun colorful summer projects!!!!! Now hop on along thru the wonderfully talented Six Chicks blogs!!!!
