Gina K. Sneak Peeks Day #4.............Labeled With Love and Winter Wings!!!!

This set is great for all occasions!!!  I made a non-traditional baby card for my niece's baby shower since we didn't know what the baby was......when we got there they told us that they're expecting a girl....so now I have to make a pinkie, girlie one!!!  LOL  I used both the Label 14 and the Petite Ovals to layer.  I used Basic Grey Olivia dp and the Smoky Slate and Green Apple Pure Luxury.  I love the Houndstooth Cuttlebug Folder.  Of course gotta add some bling!!!  LOL

Last but certainly not least is a stunning set called Winter Wings designed by Asela!!

I ADORE birds!!!  We've been Birders since our kids were tiny and really enjoy bird-watching while on our many roadtrips!!!  And coloring these birds is a pure joy!!!  This is a sweet Chickadee on a snowy branch!  I used some Flower Soft for the snow.  I used the new Basic Grey Jovial dp.....the plaid just fit this little winter scene so perfectly!  And I LOVE the new Beaded Oval Nesties  that Gina will be carrying also!!!  Soooo perfect for bling!!!  LOL

Gina K. Sneak Peeks Day #3..........Funny Farm and Tea Time!!!!

Two more fun peeks!!!  First is a CUTE new set called Funny Farm designed by our very own Gina!!!

Oh this set has some cuuuuute shhhhtuffffs you're gonna love!!!!  And super fun to color!!!  I used my Copics and just had a blast!  The Basic Grey Max and Whiskers dp is perfect for this and matches Pure Luxury Cranberry Tart and Sweet Corn!!  And sponged lightly for the grass and the sky.  The Scallop Circle Nesties are so cool!  I'm such a Nestie addict!!!  LOL

The next set is truly sweet, Tea Time designed by Rupa.

I made a little gifty set, a milk carton style treat holder and matching card.  Some pastel mints were my inspiration!

For the card I stamped the background with the stack of tea cups and colored them with Copics using pastel colors and then matched up with Pure Luxury paper.  You know I just gotta layer my Fancy Tags!!!  I used some pink rhinestones and Stickles for some blinging up of the tea cups!!

Jessica shared this milk carton template with me.....if you'd like it please e-mail me or leave me your e-mail addy and I'll send it to you!  I made the carton out of some DCWV designer paper and just went around the top and spout with some ribbon to jazz it up a bit.  I stamped the sweet cupcake image and then color them to match.  Stamping with this set made me hungry!!!  LOL

Gina K. Sneak Peeks Day #2..........Fanciful Fall and So Groovy!!!!

Two more fun new sets to peek tonite!!!  First of all..............did you see the exciting BIG announcement from last night????  
Gina K. Designs will now be offering all of our new sets pre-cut!
 
Each month going forward, our new release stamp sets and future StampTV kits will come to you pre-cut on cling cushion. (We will also be pre-cutting some of our previous sets but not at first. When they do become available pre-cut, we will notify you.)

Now the first stamp set tonite is an elegant set called Fanciful Fall designed by Theresa.

I love Fall!!!  So this set is just so fun!  I used Memento Markers to color directly onto the stamp and then "huff" the image to remoisten the ink and then stamp!!  I kept the design CAS and just lightly sponged some Cocoa around the panel so the distressing would really show.  I love the Green Apple Cardstock with the Chocolate!

Next is just a fun and funky new set called So Groovy designed by Tami.

• Ink: Vivid Inks in Brick, Aqua, Lemon Ice and Wild Lime
• Paper: Pure Luxury White, Red Hot, Turquoise Sea, Sweet Mango, Lemon Drop

I had fun with primary colors on this one!  LOL  I used a couple of the small images to make the background dp.  And then used matching Pure Luxury Cardstock.  I had to add some bling....so I used some Stickles for the tv and some Rhinestones for the little knobs!  The corner punch adds some more space to put bling!!!!  LOL

Gina K. Designs Sneak Peek Day #1........Buds & Vases and Lovely Labels 2!!!!!

First is a super cute and fun new set called Buds and Vases by Melanie!!!

I just couldn't resist a sweet little potted pink flower!!!  This stamp set has so many possibilities!!!  I stamped the flowers and colored them and then cut them out so they would look like they hang over the pot a little bit.  I used some of my most favorite Pure Luxury colors, Cranberry Tart and Green Apple!!!  And gotta have my Fancy Tags layers!!  The ribbon actually matches better IRL...it's satiny so the lighting really shimmers off it.

Now a beautiful new set that will make you run out and buy some new Nestabilities!!!!  LOL  Lovely Labels 2 designed by Nina!!

I LOVE my Nesties!!  And these shapes are the Labels 14.  Aren't they a gorgeous shape???  And Nina's designs with them are wonderful!  I used both sizes and then layered them by popping them up.  I kept the Pure Luxury colors chocolate and red.....yum!!  It's a bit hard to see, but I used Tim Holtz Fired Brick Distress Ink and the Distressed Diamonds Cuttlebug Folder.  Gotta dress it up in ribbon and pearls!!  LOL

Gina K..........Autumn Memory DT Challenge Hop!!!!!!!

Happy Fall Y'all!!!!  Heehee!!  I sooooo love Autumn!!!  Although, to be honest, Colorado certainly does not have a very long season of Fall.  But it sure is stunning!!  There is nothing quite like the Aspens turning a shimmery gold and gazing at the beautiful sea of gold among the evergreens!!!!

Which is my favorite memory of Autumn!!!  This hop tonite features Gina K. Designs and the Fall memories of the entire Design Team!!!  When hubby and I were first married one of the most romantic things we did was to take a drive and see the Aspens!! And looking for the pretty and very unique wildflowers we have here in the mountains.  It's so sweet to see a little cluster of wildflowers among the beautiful and stately Aspens!!!  There are a million places to see them, but we like finding out of the way spots that aren't tourist-filled!  LOL  We have enjoyed doing that with our kids as they've grown and still it's one of our most cherished family times!!!

So with those memories in mind, here is my card.....

I used the amazing new Autumn Splendor Stamp TV Kit!!!  It is so beautiful!!!  I kept the colors very Fall-like using the Pure Luxury Chocolate, Kraft and Lipstick Red.  I stamped the flower image and colored it with my Copics....the shading might be a bit hard to see on the tiny petals.  I rarely use eyelets...but I was challenged recently by my friend Misti to use some of the millions of eyelets that I own!!!  LOL  So I thought it would be fun to use them in a different way as flower centers!!  The Houndstooth CB Folder is just such an "autumny" design to me!  And yep......there's the Fancy Tags layers again!  LOL  I am addicted!!!

Just Us Girls Technique Challenge - Cracked Glass!!

I haven't played along to many challenges in quite some time!!!  It's been a busy AND rough health summer......I'm so ready for Fall and Winter!!!!  LOL

Well...........I do LOVE these girls at Just Us Girls!!!  And the challenge this week is to use the Cracked Glass Technique.  I do love this technique and need to use it more.....it's so pretty and antiquey looking!!!

I loved this sweet winter cabin stamp by Art Kure I got in a fun "Sisterhood Of The Traveling Stamps" swap that some SCS friends and I did recently!!  I thought it would be fun with the technique for this challenge.  I love these 2 Pure Luxury Cardstock colors for winter scenes too!  Cranberry Tart and All Spruced Up.  The new Basic Grey Oliver matches perfectly!!  I tried something the layering of a different shaped Nestie behind the one my cabin was on.  I really do love my Nesties!!!  LOL  And you know I had to have some bling!!  So I lightly sponged the white snowflakes and then put the Rhinestones on top....added a bit of snowy, delicate lace and voila!  Now I'm really, really in the mood for our first snow!!!

Gina K. - Lean On Me Hop!!!!

It's a special Hop tonite using one of the newest sets from Gina herself, Lean On Me.  It's a special set when you want to pop a card in the mail to offer some support and just let a friend you know you are there!!!

I decided to make a CAS card....yes occasionally I can do that!  LOL  With just some simple scoring using my Scor-Buddy I had a very quick and simple background!  I stamped the stem and leaf in Memento Pear Tart and the flower in Memento Ladybug.  The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black.  The Pure Luxury Cardstock colors I used that match those inks are Red Hot and Green Apple.  Just a touch of ribbon and bling!!

It's A Teddy Bear Day!!!!

In honor of such a cute holiday.....Sept. 9 is Teddy Bear Day......I just HAD to play along in this fun challenge!!!!!  CCEE Stampers has a Teddy Bear Challenge!!!  And there are so many stinkin' adorable teddy bear images I tell ya!!!!

I recently found some fabulously cute stamps at Lili Of The Valley, a company in the UK.  Some of them are so unique and right up my alley and very fun to color!!!

This little guy is named James Bear............now how could resist him when that's my hubby's name??!!!  LOL  I love the snow....oh you all know I do!!!!  So he was so fun to color and then surround with snowflakes and stickles!!!  I love the new Oliver Basic Grey dp too!!  It goes so perfectly with some of my favorite GKD Pure Luxury colors........Cranberry Tart and Green Apple!!!  And some fun snowflake embellies that I definitely need to stock up on!!!
